What could possibly be a better way to welcome the new year than to celebrate it with some fresh pow, everlasting sunsets and some of your favorite people on the planet? I can't think about a lot of options actually. I was pretty stoked.
But it was of course not all rainbows and butterflies, of course. A few days before these beautiful days of sunshine and/or pow days captured on picture were a few days of pure hell. My sister Veronica and I were doing some alpine training in the well-known race hill "Störtloppet" in Åre, and the weather gods decided to go full fuck-you-mode with some plus degrees, rain and strong winds. But we were not raised to be quitters anyway, so we harrowed through those very unpleasant training days. And were rewarded with those a little bit more photogenic ski days!
